A hockey field is basically a field or pitch on which the game of hockey is played. It is according to the international laws of hockey governed by the FIH. The field is also known as the pitch. Pitch Boundary:

The pitch on which the game of hockey is played has a length of 299 feet, 10 inches and a width of 180 feet, 5 inches. The boundary is marked on the hockey turf. Centre Line:
